Paris Hurley is a violinist based in Los Angeles. Over the past 30 years, her work has expanded from her classically trained roots and Carnegie Hall debut at age 16 to include an extensive catalogue of Balkan, rock, pop, experimental, and noise collaborations with over five hundred artists including Seattle-based Balkan punk band, Kultur Shock, NY Times hailed, “pop polymath,” Jherek Bischoff, and Degenerate Art Ensemble, with select performances at On the Boards (Seattle), the REDCAT (LA), the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (SF), Merkin Concert Hall (NY), TED (Vancouver, BC), and hundreds of festivals throughout Europe.
